Dr. Pawan Bajaj completed his Specialist Medical Oncology training in Queensland across multiple hospitals including The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Mater Hospital Brisbane and Princess Alexandra Hospital. Prior to that, Dr. Bajaj undertook basic physician training at The Gold Coast Hospital. He has a strong interest and expertise in treating colon, lung, prostate and breast cancers with a focus on biological, targeted treatment and immunotherapies. He also practises General Oncology with a subspecialty interest in Geriatric Oncology. He also has a strong interest in clinical trials offering newer treatment options to patients with solid organ cancer and works with Tasman Health Care, research based group running clinical trials for medical Oncology patients. He is also a senior lecturer at The Griffith University. He is committed to providing high quality, evidence-based care to patients with solid organ malignancies. Dr. Bajaj has experience in practicing medicine across multiple countries which provides him with insight into diverse patient populations and in addition, his multi lingual ability provides him with cross cultural communication skills.
